A Cappella Joy is an award-winning barbershop chorus based in the Seattle area. We belong to Sweet Adelines International, the world's largest music education organization for women and people of marginalized genders who can sing SSAA. We are dedicated to musical excellence, committed to inclusiveness and diversity, and determined to bring a fresh, fun approach to a traditional American art form.
We love meeting potential new members! If you love to sing and are ready to work and play hard, visit us at one of our regular Monday night rehearsals. Members and singing guests must email [email protected] before attending a rehearsal, and agree to our COVID-19 policy.
Women and people of marginalized genders who sing SSAA are welcome to come sing with us and audition. We do not discriminate based on age, race, nationality, religion, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, or gender expression.
We are an award-winning a cappella chorus from the greater Seattle area. Our members range in age from 14 to 80-something and have a variety of backgrounds. We share the love of music and dedication to excellence that have come to define AJoy. We work hard, play hard, and live and breathe barbershop music.
A Cappella Joy singers had an incredible experience on the international stage! We are so lucky to have had such an engaged audience to help us “solve our mystery”. Harmony Classic Division AA Champions and Most Entertaining Chorus—wow, it doesn’t get much better than that!
